SNA Calls For Aid For School Nutrition Programs

Organizations that fight hunger are asking President-elect Joe Biden to block two Trump administration rules restricting who can qualify for federal food assistance. School meal programs also need financial help, said School Nutrition Association spokesperson Diane Pratt-Heavner, adding that “to sustain school meal programs and build on the progress achieved in school cafeterias in recent years, Congress and the new administration must address this funding crisis.”
