SNA Releases Their 2024 Position Paper – Check it Out
Did you hear? SNA has released its 2024 Position Paper outlining this year’s legislative priorities. 
Why it matters: SNA’s new School Nutrition Trends Report finds critical economic and regulatory challenges threaten the sustainability of school meal programs.
To ensure these programs remain viable to benefit students long-term, SNA’s 2024 Position Paper includes three crucial asks:
To combat financial threats, Congress must increase reimbursements by 40 cents per lunch and 15 cents per breakfast.- To keep students eating healthy school meals, maintain current, successful school nutrition standards, rather than implementing additional rules.
