Give SNA Your Input for the Upcoming 2026 Legislative Position Paper

What’s new: SNA is calling on all members to share input on top school meal policy priorities to help develop the Association’s 2026 Position Paper!

Key details:

  • On October 1, SNA members will receive an email with a link to complete the Association’s annual Position Paper survey–this is your chance to weigh in on SNA’s advocacy priorities for the coming year.
  • School nutrition directors and supervisors will also be asked about program trends, workforce challenges and staffing issues.
  • This year’s survey will include a few questions in collaboration with Child Trends as part of the Understanding the School Food Workforce Project, funded by USDA, focused on turnover, compensation, benefits and retention strategies.

👉 What’s next: Look for an email from “The School Nutrition Association.” Your input is critical to strengthen SNA’s advocacy and support within the school nutrition workforce.

We are a state affiliate to the School Nutrition Association (SNA), which represents over 55,000 individuals who have made a commitment to child nutrition.
