Welcome to the 2025 SNAAZ Annual State Conference
It is my absolute pleasure to welcome you all to the 69th Annual School Nutrition Association of Arizona State Conference. Buckle up, my fellow school nutrition professionals because the Delorean is fueled up, the food show booths are staged enticingly, and the education sessions are thoughtfully prepared to skyrocket us into the future of school nutrition.
Whether you’re joining us for the first time or you’re a familiar face in this dynamic community, thank you so much for being here. We’re thrilled to come together under this year’s exciting and forward-thinking theme: “Back to the Future: Hoverboards and Hot Lunches – The Future of School Food Starts Here.”
When we hear “Back to the Future,” we might think of time-travel and futuristic gadgets—but today, we’re talking about something even more powerful: the bold vision we have for the future of school nutrition, grounded in the lessons we have learned from our past. The landscape of school nutrition programs is ever-changing, and we are the dedicated professionals leading the way forward – adapting and advocating for the health and success of every student we serve.
This theme challenges us to reflect on the incredible strides we’ve made – from advancing customer service models and updating nutritional standards, to making meals more accessible, and imagining and planning for what comes next. How do we take the best of what we’ve learned and propel it forward to meet the needs of the next generation?
During this one-day conference, we’ll explore new food and equipment trends and ideations, share success stories, and tackle the tough questions. We’ll be learning from passionate experts, connecting with one another, and re-energizing our shared mission to nourish students and support their learning and well-being.
This conference is your time to learn, grow, explore possibilities, and have some fun, too! Please enjoy the ultimate 80’s party at the end of the day for maximum connection! Make the effort to reach out to make at least one new friend or acquaintance. Let’s step boldly together into the future with open minds, caring hearts, and a deep commitment to the students we serve.

Annual State Conference
We are so excited to announce the 2025 Annual State Conference (ASC). This year’s conference will be held at the beautiful Phoenix Convention Center (South Building) – Phoenix, Arizona. The ASC planning committee has planned a spectacular event for every level of child nutrition. So, if you are a director, supervisor, manager, front-line team member, or central office/warehouse there will be some wonderful education classes and information geared specifically for you. Also, we will be presenting an education track in Spanish for those more comfortable learning in that language.
